How to Monetize Your Site with Pre-Roll Ads (Yashi)

Do you have a website? Are looking to make some money? Placing ads on your site is the best way to do just that. In this post, I will walk you through the process of how to sign up and become a publisher with Yashi. It is simple and easy to do, and we would love to have you!
There are several different types of online ads that you can run with us, but the most effective kind with the highest ROI is pre-roll video, which happens to be our specialty. If you want to offer pre-roll inventory on your website’s video content, you have definitely come to the right place. The first step in becoming a Yashi publisher is to register. Click here to go to our platform.
Now you can create a username and password. This will provide you with access to our platform, where you can review real-time reporting data, as well as manage your sites and tags. Once you are registered with us, make sure you fill out all your payment information so we can send you over an IO and you can start making money.

DISPLAY/BANNER ADS

Once you have filled out all of your information, you can add your site or sites. This step is very simple. Click on the Add Site button and type in your desired URL. This will automatically generate the 3 standard display tags (160x600, 300x250, 728x90). These tags will come in handy later. Creating a different type of tag is just as easy! If you switch from the Sites/Apps tab on the menu bar, it will bring you to a screen where you can view and manage all of your tags. Here you can choose which type of tag you would like, corresponding to the type of ad you’d like to serve.
Once you are in this section, you will see your sites listed. There is a button on the right side of the site that says Expand. If you click on the expand screen, you will see the Add Tag button. Here, you will see a drop-down menu where you can pick from a variety of different tags that you’d like to include on your site.

PRE-ROLL VIDEO ADS

On the video side, we can work with a variety of different media players. We work with 500 publishers, and over 10,000 sites run Yashi ads everyday. We have been very successful in achieving a high fill rate for them. Even if you have a custom video player on your site, we can accommodate you. If you have any further questions about site specifications, feel free to ask! If you would like to run a pre-roll ad on your site, you can fill in your domain information and then request a video tag. Once all of these steps have been completed and your financial information has been filled in, it will be sent to your Yashi account manager. This person will approve your site and tags and then e-mail them to you the code to embed on your website. Once you receive the tags, copy and paste them into your site’s code wherever you would like the ads to appear. Once these tags are placed on your site, they are ready to go live, and you’re all set up to start making money.

REPORTING

If you are interested how much money they are making or the CPM price they are running on, you can log back into the publisher platform and see the reporting data.
As a publisher or ad network you can always add more sites and tags to your account. You can also check in to see real-time reporting data whenever you’d like.
